ohh yea i went to him a bit for chem, not really maths...
hmm i dunno, i dont really wanna make negative comments , but ive had tutors that were more efficicent - ie he read the paper half the time........

hmm
he was good for chem but not really for maths.. oh well.....
the best maths tutor it the whole world is a guy called MR Hau in roseville - excellent tutoring... hmm i wonder if anyone here has been to him.....

except pat was pretty nice in estimating the UAIs hehehe - mine will be a lot lower than what he said..

hey he said u are aiming for 100. is that true?

yeah mostly cause of the expense
but additionally i dropped from 3u to 2u so it seemed a waste of money to have someone like him cause i didn't need anyone to teach me the course as such
that's why i got pat in, a lot cheaper and gives you a lot of past papers!

Im in a hole called Ijuin, bout 1/2 hour out of Kagoshima City, its on Kyushu, southern most island on the southern most peninsula. hmm, the main attractions is Maccas and KFC plus 2 supermarkets like KMART cept smaller. but its cool. ijuin is about the size of say Hurstville but spread out heaps.

By the way, what was 3U Jap like? what kind of stuff should i be practising for the speaking task cos speaking is probably my worst point. i looked at the syllabus and its based on arguing a point in Jap right? i dont get much arguing practise here cos u know japan, the culture is still pretty strong and noone debates much. but yeah, someone tell me what would be good to practise for 3U jap, please.

Oh yeah, by the way the kanji for 3U jap is the same level as the primary school kids here, like Kindergarten age. hehe, bit depressing but the English level is the same as primary school back home, makes for a boring lesson but very easy to impress the class. Got to love the jap english accent as well. hehehe

hmm yeah for 3u japanese, i suggest thinking about the ideas in english a lot first - it really helps....
because once you have your ideas n the argument in english , its not hard to translate it to japanese...

for the spking exams i reccommend writing dot points in english, because it doesnt matter if your japanese isnt PERFECT , the flow of your argument has to matter more, because its impression marking...

a good technique is to, when u get the question....
introduce your stance,
talk about the good points w examples in japan / australlia, talk about the bad points w examples japane / australia, then sum it up with a conclusion based upon your argument, and have a strong final statement...

i think having english skills helps with 3u japanese - i found that the people with poorer english skills had trouble with the comprehension etc, n it was quite a struggle for some ppl...

hmm... also, practice writing good compositions cos that helps, (compositions were my weak point), lol practice writing in all the styles, diary entry, letter etc (eheheh i didn't know some of those styles n there were funny stories.. hmm) neway...

read the english version of the text a couple of times.....

ALSO dont get lazy with 2u jap just cos it seems so easy....
hmm.. that happened to my friend , she did better in 3u than 2u by like 20% ... hmm...

wow ! are you excited...? i would be... i enjoyed 3u japanese - was like the onlysubject i actually liked..
neway,

ganbatte ^_^
