well....

we have around...

general maths - 54
Mathematics - 85
Ext. 1 maths - 42
ext. 2 maths - 19

no maths - 7 including me!

...looks pretty evenly spread to me.

We're not "made" to drop anything but our school suggests we do no less than 12units and no more than 13units.

I'm doing just fine with 11units!

12 units is a waste of time........you will spend time/effort on a subject that wont even count

None of the subjects are difficult enough to screw up if you do enough work
The only tests where I have screwed up despite studying is english........but thats compulsory

"to study or not to study, that is the question. Whether its more beneficial to the mind to suffer the hours of cruel study or to bludge and fail all exams and by failing end our pursuit of a great UAI. To pass, to fail, no more and by failing to say we end the heartache and the thousand other worries that this HSC brings forth"

hmm...from previous comments
i agree with Morgues, if u do 12, u waste ur time on something that doesnt count
in my situation, im fukking up physics badly, and it looks like ill do worse in that that than my 79 in SDD last yr, but 1 unit of phys will have to count cos i do 11 units...if i could drop phys and concentrate on my other subjects, in which im doing pretty good, i wouldnt have to waste valuable study time for physics, which wouldnt count anyway (but half does)

BUT in saying that, most ppl do 12 or over simply cos they want/need the knowledge for university
