OMFG this is a long thread. Why didn't someone start a new thread, like this year?
Anyway, I go to Shoalhaven High School, which is a povo-looking public school. It's okay once you get used to it, I guess.
If the principal or whoever is in charge of employing teachers would pull their head out of their arse, the school would run sooooooo much better with actual English teachers teaching Extension 2 English, rather than a History teacher who barely passed English u=at uni.... I mean wtf?!
But, we've only started trying to enforce a "proper" unifrom in the past few years. Before, you just wore a yellow shirt (white for seniors), and brown/tan pants/skirt. Now they have shirts with logo, etc., but the pants are soooo expediently gay (not in the good way). At a school where half of the kidas shop at Supre, they chose pants that were.... so wierd-shaped. And it's the hardest colour to match if you go to Lowes or something for school-clothes...
So what sort of uniform has everybody else got? New PE shorts are pretty bad too- brown with yellow pockets.... ew.
Went to Penrith High in year 7. It was alright. The Maths teacher was annoying, but I was almost a year ahead of the other kids (in some subjects...) when I moved.
That's enough of me yapping. You probably all compare schools in your local area. I wanted to go to Nowra High, but it was full (damn- could gone shopping during breaks :mad1
. And I was looking at Bomaderry High's application, and even though their red, green and white uniform looked... interesting, I was freaked out by the thing showing all the little areas seperate for each year, and a corridor for the good students...

Yeah Jessica Masters topped Advanced English - I think she's the only one in a long long while (if not the first ever) to get 99+ for her UAI

wow thats awesome...its pretty impressive to come top in a key subject like english from a school thats not up there in the top ten. she must be a genius...stalk her and get her to give you her study notes lol
