Hey guys, just looking for peoples opinions on these texts. I've been investigating some H.G Wells Science Fiction novellas, and have read War of the Worlds, The Island of Doctor Moreau and The Time Machine. Which text do you guys personally think would is the best novel out of the three?

I think that The Time Machine is the best, its got a mix of Utopia/Dystopia in it, contrasted between the overworld and the underworld, and it has a lot of science in it (Especially the Time Traveller's talking about the fourth dimension). War of the Worlds is an obvious dystopian novel, with aliens annihilating everyone but then showing Humans coming out on top anyway. I didn't really like The Island of Doctor Moreau, I thought it didn't really fit in with the 'Science Fiction' genre we're looking at since we're prescribed texts such as Brave New World and 2001: A Space Oddesy.

Anywho, personal opinions?
