I'm doing Advanced Science, and I think it's all pretty even in terms of gender. Is anyone here doing Advanced chem or bio?

I'd suggest ringing the uni tomorrow (monday). I'm not sure you can do it online, but you may be able to over the phone. I'm sure it's easy to fix!

btw, another question i wanted to ask is: is there really any jobs for B Science ppl. i mean, i wanna graduate with major in Chem. and Phys (along with my engineering degree)...but how are the job prospects of B Science ppl.

i'm asking this coz, everyone tells me that B Science is a "bachelor of nothing", and that ppl. only do it for 2 reasons: so they can get into graduate med. or do teaching. :s

I heard there were quite decent jobs for science graduates, depending of course on what u majored in. I think maths is generally a really good major to have, as the skills u develop are applicable to almost any job.

well what abt. in my case (major in physics and chemistry)?

btw, is there like a statistic abt. the percentage of graduates who find employment as soon as they graduate?

I think u can find such stats on the careers sub-section on the Usyd website. Also have a look at the good universities guide.
