Screwed for upcoming legal exam need help please (1 Viewer)

Hello so basically I have my first legal exam all year coming up in 3 days, the topics are: Crime, Human Rights, Workplace and Family. We haven't done an exam all year its either been hand ins or speeches etc.
What would be my best course of action to do for this test, I have no notes written and I copied down nothing in class because im a dumbass. Should I study just from my legal textbook: Legal Studies HSC third edition? would that be enough
Also I have no idea what you do in a legal exam like am I meant to learn cases and stuff.. lol
I really do need help or im screwed.

Section I – 20 marks – Crime & Human Rights Multiple Choice
Attempt Questions 1-20

Section II – 30 marks
This section has two parts
Part A – Human Rights-15 marks
Attempt question 21
Part B- Crime-15 marks

Section III – 50 marks
Attempt TWO questions each from a different Option

Look up the syllabus, check the "Themes and challenges list". From there, it'll look something like this:

For example, if I took the family section of the syllabus;

Themes and challenges to be incorporated throughout this topic:
• the role of the law in encouraging cooperation and resolving conflict in regard to family
• issues of compliance and non-compliance
• changes to family law as a response to changing values in the community
• the role of law reform in achieving just outcomes for family members and society
• the effectiveness of legal and non-legal responses in achieving just outcomes for family
members.

You should make notes based on the above, find cases, legislation that'll fit into those notes. For the trials, they will use the themes and challenges and people will make questions out of those; I mean, even last year's independent and CSSA trials questions were EXACTLY the same as the themes and challenges given.

Are you using Pearson or Cambridge? I would recommend Cambridge, but Pearson ain't too bad either. And yes, read your textbook.

You will need to incorporate relevant legislation, media cases and articles in your extended responses. You only have 3 days left so just read from your textbook.
Day 1- Crime
Day 2- Human Rights
Day 3- Option

^ Is that right?
Also, to what degree must I learn example like say for the Crime syllabus under the the criminal investigation process would I need acts, legislation, cases for every dot point etc?

Also what is meant by "issues of compliance and non-compliance "
