hey i was just wondering wether u can enrol in a unit to do in second semester at the end of first sem, is it possible ?

You add units for sem 2 during the first week of sem 2

uh-huh n can u withdraw from them as well ? like leave it for the nxt yr or something

Yep. You can even do em for a couple of weeks and remove em... So just make sure withdraw from units before the HECS census dates for both semester 1 and 2.

Also, beware of long long queues to change your program (unless they get the online thing going). I waited far too many hours last year ><

Yep only change of program you can do from March 1st online. Hoorah!..
I'm not sure if this applies to first years though, i read somewhere that it isnt.

So from March 1 when it goes online - we can change our SM1 & SM2 timetable ?

Should have it up eariler since uni starts on March 1.

yes you can. and i thought it was online already. it's worth giving it a try. i havent because i cant be bothered to find my student number

Your student number should be on the white carbon copy of the blue HECS form where you had to put on your tax file number etc etc.
You can only see your personal details atm on estudent (well, at least i can only), and your results/qualifications.

Me either! I followed the instructions, put in my student no. from my ID card, but it doesn't work!

thank goodness, i thought it was just me. i put in the number from my ID card as well. and then checked it and it was the same as the one on the sheet
