myspace secret shows - whats the deal? has anyone else heard of them/been to one?

just wondering because apparantly the next one is the cure, sydney, all ages, free on august 10. sounds too good to be legtimate? especially as they have a gig on the same day at entertainment centre?

I've had 'secret shows' on my friends list for ages, but I haven't actually been to one.

I'm totally going to the cure one though. I was going to go to their concert in sydney but it cost too much.

I think the catch is that they only let through the first 100 or so people, so you'd have to be lining up for hours.

Someone told me that fall out boy did a secret show but it was their soundcheck for the concert that night or something. Maybe thats why its on the same night as their concert.

10th of August, thats next friday right?
I was going to go to the shins and see if I could get in somehow. hmm.

yeah its next fri. haha my friends have made it in to gigs by jumping fences/getting past security guards. the shins should be awesome, give it ago

i just read its first come, first served basis. although i can't afford a 9 hour wait in the middle of trials. daaaam hsc. go to these things while you still can
