Conservatorium - Composer Performer Workshop Concert

Tomorrow (Wednesday 3 November, 2004) at 3pm is the Composer Performer Workshop concert in the Music Workshop, Sydney Conservatorium of Music. For those of you considering studying Composition, and for those of you who are doing composition in the HSC next year, this is an excellent opportunity to find out what's happening at the Con, and to get some ideas for your own compositions. The participating composers will be more than happy to meet with you and answer any questions you may have.

The Sydney Eclectic Composers Society will then be doing three concerts as part of its Summer Series:

eclectic:bit // The Black Box - electronic and electro-acoustic music.

SECS // Australian Chamber - works for small ensemble.

Hey Phanatical, thats a great idea. Will there be more concerts like this, and would it be possible to your to notify people here when they are on?

The HSC is currently in session, so I don't know what kind of response you'll get, but if there are any others at a later date, then there'll probably be more replies.

Well, I think the later three concerts are a good idea, if only just to spend a night listening to new music. For those of you still in school, maybe you should organise a class excursion for the later three concerts?

Most of you should have finished the HSC by now, so you should have time to attend our concerts.
