I put two resources of Sparta as Mt Taygetus and the Helots, for the economy i talked about how the helots worked the land and how the perioeci were involved in trade allowing the spartiates to become full time soldiers, i also mentioned something about how plutarch said that one of the reforms of lycurgus was to ban coinage replacing it with iron bars. For the religion i mostly wrote about festivals, mentioned that there were nine major festivals in a year and talked about the cheeses, the gymnopaedia and the carnegia and about the kings, and how they represented zeus and made sacrifices.

our class did a lot on religion! we did all these festivals like the gymnopaediae and the hyakinthia and whatnot.. and I thought about doing the short answer questions for Sparta, but I thought, I could get a whole essay out of that question, and I knew I'd go overboard, so I did new kingdom egypt for my short answer, and sparta for my essay.
