how many texts did you write about, and which?

i planned to do 4 but only had the time for 3.

I did the main and one from booklet - I found it really strange that they didn't say "at least ONE", but "ONE", so implying you're not meant to do more than one, because I wanted to use 2-3 - and then one of my own, because I didn't have the time to do both.

Hours and hours studying 3 booklet texts and 2 supp texts, and only needed one from each ><
Fucking HSC gayness.

i got confused by that whole 'refer to your prescribed text' thing.
do ya reckon it's alright to do one from stimulus, one from prescribed, and then for the text of your choosing, another prescribed????????

that's what i did, didn't intend to...but ran out of time

also, last year's comments from BOS said how the better responsed usually wrote about 3, but in depth??
soooo confused, but advice line opens at 4...meh, i'm over it now.

Eh. I honestly think I did an average job with it; my teacher's always told me to explore and analyse my three texts in-depth, and then my EE1 teacher went off and became an arse and said have a second related text for back-up, but fuck that. I was in-depth, chap, and I'm happy enough with that.

So I did three.

i think when they say do your prescribed text, people who are doing the Immigrant chronicles actually have to write about an extra text

its because youre prescribed text is "immigrant chronicles" and not the actual name of the text

um... i think you are meant to do another text of your own choosing because they want to see if you can analyse a separate text that you have chosen yourself, so not one they have given you.
I don't know tho, it might not matter.
Also 3 in more detail is better than 4 in general

and i wrote 10 pages, i was really happy with that
