A gives a = 2 not a = 4, your friend may have fucked up? to be fair i may have as well LOL

ffs faisal 10/10
no
for A
a= v dv/dx
= 2 x 2 (cos (x-1))
= 4

for B
a = v dv/dx
= 2 4/x
= 8 which is wrong
you forgot that dv/dt and dv/dx ain't the same thing

I left MC until about the last 8 minutes and made predominantly educated guesses and got:

Q1. D
Q2. A
Q3. B
Q4. C
Q5. C
Q6. D
Q7. A
Q8. B
Q9. A
Q10.D

From what previous posts have said I think that's 9/10.

i didn't forget, i used d/dx v^2/2 but i just found my silly mistake
v = 2sin(x-1) + 2
v^2/2 = 2sin^(x-1) + 2sin(x-1) + 2

should have been a 4 oops

For Q10, ... A only works for even
Actually, no. Even functions are only special cases of all the functions that work for A.

Edit: What am I talking about. Even functions DON'T work (except in special cases).
Option 'A' works for any function where the integral between -a and 0 is zero, regardless of what the function does between 0 and a.
