For the creative writing section... will there always be 'options' to choose from? ie. like last year?

Has anyone prepared a responce for this section?
I know a few of my friends are going in with prepared essays for the creative writing which in my opinion is rather silly but anyway

No, and I wouldn't bother preparing for creative writing. I'm way too overconfident and am preparing to get shot down with a complex and highly limited question on Monday. :mad1:

Umm, what was I saying?

Oh, yeah, don't prepare for this section by writing an essay and bringing it in. They could ask you to write a feature article, a letter, hell, even a poem (but I doubt they would - imagine reading hundreds of bad poems!).

Best thing to do is know the text types and be prepared to write in any of them.

Oh, and unless the question is just BEGGING for it, I'm going to avoid stereotypical 'growing up' stories. Meh. I'm going to go for the sadistic war veteran whose life has been shattered by the outbreak of biological warfare in his childhood town. WOOHOO! :chainsaw:
