Just buy a book and do some practice questions at home. Waste of time and money paying for tutoring just for the selective exams.

True. But look for a surprise too. My kid scored generally about 90% on the math component of OC practice tests available from shops. When it came to the real test, the kid only got 75% and landed somewhere among the top kids in this OC class! That was above many who went to coaching places who also did weekly trials too! So the real test will be harder than the stuff seen on the market at this moment.

hi i can recommend a private tutor for the selective test, he has just finished his hsc and attended baulkham hills high school which is ranked 2nd in the state. PM me if you want more info
