lol at 12 refs, you're way too...I dunno the word. I'm not gonna say overdoing it because you're gonna get a good mark, but awesome doesn't seem relevant here. I'll just say you win at uni

the thing is though, you need a reference to back up each subtheory (e.g. left, right, feminism, postmodernism, classical agenda setting, etc.) and a reference to back up the critical response to it. It adds up to way more than 12 as she recommended. At present I have no proof for most of my points, and it's more like a speech, rather than an essay. Realistic mark will be 70% for it.

She's really horrible at wording assignments :( No way you can get all that and a bibliography in 1500 words

Sounds like a frustrating and difficult assignment mangs.
It also sounds like you have the grounds to complain even if you dont get shit marks, Stazi.

I know there's a Phil with Modern Physics but Maths? Ew.

'Philosophy of maths'? Maths is a hard science and the philsophical and logical rules upon which it is based are discussed in any pure maths subject...

philosophy wasnt always about contrived essays: science used to be taught as 'natural philosophy'. by the same token, science wanst always about cramming for exams

I don't like freud all that much. and he's not that relevant to our psych (which reminds me, i have to get started on the lab report :s)

can we do phil of modern science this year? (it's phil 3xxx)
