yeah, but i try to get much higher than a credit. It's my lowest mark in ages :s In fact, it's my lowest mark for an essay since first year.

I gave the essay to annette to put comments on. A tutor marked it and really I have no idea what I have to do to improve it, as the only comment is that the arguments could be more succinct.

I got my social movements essay back 2day.

6/10. The only comment was that she found my argument confusing. But she didn't actually say what she misunderstood. Opinion of Annette is falling even lower

v. sad :( Am considering appeal, but not sure I can be bothered

It's good! I totally forgot about it today, I have to remember to get it tomorrow. You put so much work into it, hopefully Annette gives you something constructive to take back.

Yeah, but I didn't waffle. I wasn't trying to fill up the word count, in fact, I had to cut about 500 words and really shorten my arguments.

65% is really low for an essay of the standard I handed in. similarly, silver persian also usually gets very high marks, if i'm not mistaken.

apparently no one got an HD. wtf? about 3-5% of the course are meant to get HDs in Arts subjects.

Grr.

Next semester, remind me to bags my presentation partners in tutorials early.

There was a guy in my educational psychology tute who had absolutely nothing to do with education at all, and he was in my presentation group and had NO IDEA what "engaging the audience" meant, or how anything was relevant for schools, or, you know, any of the essential practical aspect of it.

BOOOOURNS.

What are you serious? What was the highest mark and average mark, can you ask her, when you go back to get your essay?

Hopefully you get scaled up! I'd really be interested to know what the highest and more importantly, average, and standard deviation of the course was.

Hehe. I wasn't at Manning today, I was told to go to Broadway instead. I would have loved to have met people from teh interwebs but yeah, sorry. :(

MEBBE NEXT TIME.

Also, I always have to trek through the quad at 11ish on Fridays to get to my tut, so I'll probably see JFK amongst all the other smelly graduands.

You make me feel bad :( Like I should be working harder too.

That said, having no feedback would annoy me. Grr.

nah, thats next week.

its just that often the tests won't pass a program become of something trivial. like for example, you define max_str_length as 500, a test fails, and you have to keep on changing the value till you find the right one. not to mention that sometimes it tells you the input data, sometimes it doesnt
