Except there's no money on it and I want to close it because they have fees.

Although I should just go show them my student card and get a discount on said fees. Is there any debit card that has zero fees for students?

oh check out www.mycanvascard.com.au or www.vcard.com.au

they have fees, but are quite good. canvascard is basically a permanent debit type card. vcard is a one-off voucher you can get.

bankwest also have fee-free debit cards for students

Fuck ANZ. They have lots of atms and branches but they have monthly fees and they let my account be overdrawn when I specifically requested that it not be able to do that.
