Haha yeah, P&G service is amazing. Someone on OCAU forums once emailed and asked 'is pringles a chip?' and the customer service person spent a few days gathering info from various sources starting from how they're made, to ingredients, to what the definition of a chip is, to give them a customised long response.

That's the kind of shit that I like. That is the kind of stuff that creates customer loyalty, imo. Like the time I called up Internode to help me with my adsl and he spent an hour going over it with me.
I now refuse to leave Internode.

currently nothing, but in february, brand management.

brand management is a bit complicated to explain: it's basically managing how you want your brand to resonate with consumers vs. other brands in the portfolio, making sure that consumers perceive it in the same way as intended. It also involves coming up with new products to launch for your brands, and developing advertising plans for existing and future brands. That's brand management in a nutshell.

p.s. for consumer goods

customer = woolies/coles, harvey norman, etc.
consumer = us.

internode example is correct though: we're the customers and consumers.
