Yeah but I have a commbank one for ATMs and everyday stuff. I just want a card that I can use to internet shop, without having to pay fees.

Get the citibank gold visa. Fee free for life. Free travel insurance and you can convert all your points to QFF at a 1:1 ratio.

Their customer service is not as bad as people say, and they replaced my card within 2 days when I said I lost my wallet.

Awesome.

Fuck ANZ. They have lots of atms and branches but they have monthly fees and they let my account be overdrawn when I specifically requested that it not be able to do that.

Fuckem! St George looks like it might win.
go bankwest!!!

opening hours are until 7pm weekdays, and they're open weekends.

you can do deposits for free at all post offices

you also get unlimited withdrawals at all CommBank ATMs + all 7/11 ATMs.

They do allow your account to be overdrawn though :(

Yeah debit card from St George is pretty win.

I handed in my sociology thing five minutes late lolz My rush meant my references were absolutely terrible and I just chucked them in anywhere hoping they were relevant. Then I picked up my earlier assignment and got 22/30 with the main problem being my referencing. Ruh roh

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread

I dunno.

Commbank is my everyday account, I won't really need ATM access for a debit card because it'll be a case of transferring funds into it specifically to purchase something online.

Thus, I shouldn't have a problem with being overdrawn again.

There's a St George at my local shopping centre so that's probably the way to go. It's right next to the ANZ and commbank I use anyway.

I'll do it in the holidays.

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread

agree with scarybunny about the whole ANZ overdrawing thing. Once I overdrew accidentantly and I went to the branch to tell them to stop allowing me to do so. She wouldnt. And i was like 'wtf do you mean, you wont?'

Her: You have to make it in writing and send it to our head office
Me: But im here...in front of you...telling you..
Her: No.

Stupid ANZ. I am going to take all my money and savings and investments to CBA. And write ANZ a letter about it.

Also, foo, I end up looking @ new guitars, same as you. Bass though. My other two are hot as.

There was a box on the form that said do you wish to have an overdraw facility and I said NO.

If I don't have enough funds, say so. Don't take the money out and then charge me $30 for the priviledge I told you I didn't want.

I'm switching banks. FUck ANZ and their fees and their overdrawyness.

Ditto. That's exactly what I told her. Then she said the only way to stop it is to ask for it in writing.

Even their interest savings account sucks compared to the others. 4.5% interest, and you get charged 2.50 everytime you take money out.
Its absurd!
