How'd you guys find CHEM1901?

I honestly thought that the CHEM2 exam was easier than both of the first year advanced chemistry ones adjusting for age/experience.

How does math1001 scale? I probably got 10/50

CHEM1901 wasn't that bad but I made a couple of dumb errors (I thought 3p had 2 spherical and 1 planar then realised it's 1 each since 1s has no nodes...there were a couple of questions I didn't do - shitly attempted.

MATH1001 wasn't even that bad...I got 20+/25 in MC and probably 30+/46 in long response. Considering that I don't even consider myself as good at maths, it really can't be that bad.

It was definitely longer, that's for sure. I had just enough time to go through everything I know and attempt the other things I couldn't do.

I couldn't do most of ESP multiple choice
Whenever I got into a groove with a question I'd mess it up somewhere like the derivatives and then the rest of the question was effed up and I had no idea how to do that last bit of all the questions
But I've been getting good marks in the quizzes but I don't think I got the mark I needed to pass the unit

Infinitely more difficult

The multiple choice was quite hard, I did it in the last 40 minutes or so but had to *really* rush.

Yeah, do you have any idea how they scale it?

I kept second guessing myself when I was attempting the partial derivatives mixing up fx and fy and ended up using like 15 minutes on a question. I hope my quizzes will save me since I did a much better job in those.

Not sure but they scale a bit - not insanely, though. From what I've heard, MATH1901 will scale MUCH more.

I did terrible on that exam as well (my second worst subject ever) so I know dat feel .

Just make a comeback with 1911 like I did and it'll even out.
