Have fun with that.

Does anyone want to do my history essay for me? I'm making zero progress at the moment.

It'll be easy. Intro the ChemE subject which I'll have learnt over S1.

How's it going? (And what's it on?)
It's getting there slowly. I'm done for tonight, but hopefully I can finish it tomorrow and start my GOVT essay on Monday.

The question: 'Were early policies of Aboriginal child removal in Australia motivated by social concerns about childhood or specifically racial prejudice?'

Okay really dumb question here... I'm planning to major in Psychology, right?
Do I have to do all those units of study offered for 2nd year, that is Brain and Behaviour, Stats, Cognitive and Social and Personality and Differential. I can't be bothered reading up on it. Halp please. :(
oh cmon it's not that hard to find out. for the major you need to get enough senior credit points, just check prerequisites for 3XXX levels and see if there are enough units. i'm pretty sure there is but you might have to do HPSC3023(History and Phil of Psych). 2013 is prereq for more units than anything else so you need to do that. not sure if you need stats for just a major so you might be able to avoid 2012. you could probably scrape by without 2014 too cause thats only prereq for 2 subs. but you do limit your options.

The head of psychology is a scary looking lady in real life. I always see her creeping around between Mungo Macallum and MacLaurin Hall.

Thanks a lot townie! :)

Yeah I haven't done much over the break either. Basically stayed inside the whole time too.

Re: Semester II Chatter Thread!

I've just started my science assignment and it's pretty straightforward, but for some reason I never really do well in them. I include everything they ask for and get a credit, and everyone else manages to get HDs and I don't know why.

Ah well, I kicked the exam's ass last semester so it's ok.

And i just realised that I have work pretty much all friday so I have to hand it in on thursday, so i have to finish it by wednesday. Ack.

Re: Semester II Chatter Thread!

So I'm sitting here thinking, I've had a week and a bit (11 days) to do these assessments due this week. Why do I always leave things to the last minute even though I know I shouldn't? Its the age old eternal question.

I start Mid-Sem thinking ok, will catch up on all readings, will download & print out all lecture notes, will get stuff in order, will do assessments, will study and what do I do? Fight with my boyfriend, be depressed, drink too much, eat too much, work too much, socialise too much and do fuck all uni work.

Who else feels the same?

exactly the same haha. i did my essay for english that's due tomorrow...started my education essay (by which i mean, i downloaded a whole lot of readings, read pretty much none of them, and cobbled an intro together)...and barely even dedicated a brain cell to the rest of the work i should have been doing. it would have been different if i didnt somehow manage to spend just about every morning this week with a hangover of some kind.

so now i have like what, 5 hours to fulfill all those good intentions to work and finish readings...and i'm more than likely going to spend them doing fuck all. yay for uni *dances*

Re: Semester II Chatter Thread!

I have three 2000-word essays due in the next three weeks, and I haven't started two of them! Woo! Hopefully I can finish off history tonight and tomorrow. Then work myself into the ground over the next fortnight. But oh my god, life will be so good once they're all in.

Apparently it's going to be really warm this week, hooray for summer being around the corner. (But 32 and windy on Wednesday, so looks like it's bushfire time.)
