two 1000 word essays, one 2000 word essay and a take home exam.
i think.

poo can't seem to find it. but from memory the assessment are:
15% participation
65% case study, 3000-4000 words. can be group or individual
20% paper on something or preso?

oh wait found it.

25%: 1000 word position paper on one of the issues in the subject (e.g. 'this is what X says, and this examle from IRL proves them wrong/right')
60%: aforementioned case study
15%: participation

oh and i should mention the reading brick is quite large, although I think you could just skim through quite a lot of articles as there's no exam and the assignments are on very specific aspects of the ocurse

Dear ENGL 1025 Students,
We have had to put on two extra tutorials due to larger than expected enrolments. This means that you will ALL have to re-check your timetables, as some of you will have been moved into one of these new tutorials. This also means that the times for ALL your classes might have changed. The Timetable Unit informs me, too, that you wonÂ’t be able to go back to your old timetables.
You will not be able to see these changes until Saturday (tomorrow), so no point in going on-line to check before then.

Excellent. One more thing, when you asking for a unit of study outside of the faculty to be included as part of your major, do you have to put a case forward, why it is relevent etc, or do the powers that be just decide on what they think is appropriate?

You can cross list gcst3603 for a sociology major when you enrol online. Just choose "sociology" as your subject area when it comes up

Well just email the head/lecturer and say "i'm capable of handling the subject; it's of interest to me, etc.'. They usually approve it
