Octoberfest thingy was lame. :S
I think it's just cos I hate beer but.
BUT we did win trivia this week at Hermanns! Yay!

P.S. Tomorrow UNSW has the octoberfest thingy too, and it's 1$ beer, free entry before 6PM! Who's going? Meeee.

for the macro quiz
dats what i saw in mereweather comp lab yesterday, lots of asians copying the answers from each other, and then they all got 18,19 out of 20.some of them did nothing at all except waiting for the answers..

i did mine by myself,11/20

its unfair

average was like, 6.

I'm going to add a B Sc (Chem) to my B Eng next year so low averages a-hoy in the main units ahead.

Have you done 2403?

Also has Prof Lay said anything about WebCT? Missed Tuesday's lecture.

what is the point of doing B Sc Chem and B E Chem. thats like doing B Computer Engineering/ B Computer Science. Other unis, like UNSW, dont let u do it

B Sc chemistry teaches you the analytic techniques (labs, etc) and more advanced subjects on organic, organometallic, medicinal chemistry, etc plus its a general interest for me. B E Chem doesn't have much hardcore chemistry and it's more for applications in industry (on a very large scale). They're hugely different when compared to CompEng/CompSci

UNSW doesn't let you do a BS (Chem)/BE (Chem)? Are you sure?

The following combined degree combinations are specifically excluded:
BE in Computer Engineering BSc in Computer Science
BE in Software Engineering BSc in Computer Science

in other news, wore a suit to uni all day. feel so professional.

Other unis, like UNSW, dont let u do it

UNSW is letting me do B Software Engineering/B Computer Science

//You just have to start it halfway through. New free degree for like 24 cp's extra added onto the course.

so i took a year off for the past year...this is my first semester back....so understandably im pretty damn more nervous than usual when getting back results

got my first 2 results of the semester back today

I feel excited Can't bloody wait , although there's still quite a number of assessments left to complete before uni finishes
