I need to clarify some points about semi-conductors. Please tell me if the below are correct:

- Outer shell is full of electrons at absolute-zero.
- As temperature increases, some electrons will leave the bond and enter the conduction band.
- Intrinsic conduction will now occur.
- If an electric field is applied, the electrons move in opposition directions to the hole.

Thanks in advance. :)

yeah it all seems right.
the valence band is full of electrons at absolute zero, and that the conduction band is empty.
