Yes, it is if you love the field, remember to go offshores, theres not enough serial killers in Australia. Remember not to get your hopes up too high, its a bit less interesting in CSI or CSI Mianmi, more like Law and order in the real world.

Nah. Law and Order they always find out what happened, why, and who did it. That's not the real world. :p

Anyway, I'm thinking of what I'll do as a second major (since there's a chance I won't get my double degree transfer) and figured that I might as well look at Forensics. I like the chemistry and I like the Psych option. Yay.

My transfer will (if nothing else) be into B Sci (Nanotechnology), which is really Applied Physics with better equipment, less maths, more money and a cooler name. If that's all I can get into then I'll have to pick a second major, and since I'm a science geek I'll probably go for Forensics.

If I get what I want though, I'll end up in Science/Law, so only one major each.

How can you transfer from applied Physics (I hate that word) into Law, I dont know your marks or anything , just a bit curious. ;)

I won't be transferring into Law, I'll be transferring into Science/Law. So, to be basic, I'll be continuing my science degree (albeit more slowly) whilst simultaneously taking up a Law degree.

Dont you need really high marks to get into any law?? I understand that you dont wanna waste your credit points so your gonna continue with the subject that you love , science(ewwww I hate that so much).

Anyways good luck!!

Yes, you need at least a distinction average. It's not hard to do in first year, provided you do some work and study (which I should REALLY start doing).

Thanks for the good wishes. :) I really want to do Medicine, which I'm even more passionate about than Law, but I'm told that doctors need some legal knowledge anyway (so I might as well go for the cream while I'm here). That said, after my Bachelors degree/s, I'm applying for Graduate Medicine.

Should all things Go to plan I'll eventually be Dr [name withheld], BSc LLB MBBS Esq. (Not including specialisation or any further studies). What a pain to type, and the business cards!

Compared to later on, a distinction in first year IS a piece of cake. Ask the second years floating around. :)

America - the country with the most amount of pyhcos and killers would be a nice start. Canada is like Australia - nothing ever happens but you get ur candy ass frozen. All for advanture try Mexico or Calonbia - Either get bribed or get murdered, not many other options.

Dingo is one of the less erudite posters on BoS. He also never comes here, I assume it is because he has neither hobbies nor interests. :p

Anyway, 2 hours? That's too long. Even I take less time than that, and I cross the whole damn city.

Walk to Mortdale station for Penshurts [10] + wait for Train for sutherland [15-(cant be late otherwise I'll wait another hr for next train to South coast)] Get off at Sutherland station and wait [15] for train to south coast [70] Train from Sutherland to North Wollongong (all stops) walk to uni [15] (i'm a super slow walker) walk top the other side of uni [10]

10 + 15 +15 +70 +15 +10 = 135 just to get there assuming train is not late which it always is arggggggggggggggggggggg!!

Getting back; same but some times longer cause some times I'll wait for 50 minutes for a train to Sydney terminals (comes every hr ) and then you hire city rail announce "The train to Sydney is delayed approximatly 20 minutes,Cityrail appolgises for your inconvince" arrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!! Life as a uni student :(
