i was just wondering what the Shakespearen technique of using a storm generally is for . I want to kno cause im doing Away and i wanna mention it.

Any help is appreciated :)

storm = chaos

take Lear for example, the scene with the storm, and Lear is basically going mad as he strips to nothing and blabbers shit...etc...hence the storm emphasises the concept of madness, chaos, and lack of order

storm can also signify that someone's messed with fate and the "higher power/nature" doesn't approve...

you can interpret the storm in a million bazzillion ways....but...

i think its when the social structure is interferred with nature is thrown out of balance..hence the storm
