eh...i think it's only available to eco and b studies students...ur teacher register for u. the game started yesterday so registration has closed.

u should ask ur teacher...

u get imginary $50000 to buy/sell shares....basically is like a simulation of the real thing. the game goes for 2 months...state and nation winners get cash prizes

Damn...I didn't even know about. Ah well, not to worry. I would've liked to have done it for fun. Are you allowed to invest in any shares on the ASX, or are you restricted to certain ones?

Thanks. Registration actually closes tomorrow, but I need my teacher to fill in the form...probably too late now. Ah well, I'll watch out for Game 1 2006

It's good fun. I've played for the last few years and we usually end up on $51k - $52k. Nice in-school comp. And hey, just remember tht everyone gets slugged with the brokerage fee. It's fair, if expensive.

lol the sharemarket game is heaps of fun, got up to 8th in the country and 3rd int he state last year only to have a bit of a colapse in teh last week. Not gogin so well this year though, my partner thought she would invest in some stocks without telling me. lets just say she bought telstra (enough said)

I joined this game in both year 10 (it is part of my 'investing the money' activity) and in year 11 (we did it for fun, and I was not even business study/econs student)...I dunno the actual procedure since it was my teacher who registered us and let us did the rest (the buying n selling stocks and else...)...the web was asx something (could not remember the details much, year ago)

I could not say that I did great...I bought some bad shares with low prices which caused me to have few hundred dollars minus but the most unfortunate things was that all my share prices went up a day after the closing, putting me (sposely) in high rank...but due to the fact that it was after the closing of the game, it was not an important matter any longer >.<

Have fun with the game anyway...

Aiming for UAI: 99.75, realistic one? 90 is a luck >.<
