Reading the holy texts of a religion very often do not reflect the religion itself, that is closed minded of you to make such a statement. In saying that we could believe that Christianity is a peace loving fun guy, who in fact caused some of the biggest genocides in history.

The legal recognition is limited, and the utilisation of the Court would surely require mutual consent of both parties - that is, it won't actually affect anyone other than those who want to be affected by it.

Furthermore, they don't set "laws," at all. As far as my understanding goes, domestic disputes will be resolved according to Sharia doctrines, and any precedent set will apply solely to the Sharia court and not any others. So basically, it's just an alternative to the Local or Family courts for those who would prefer a dispute resolution based on their customs.

I fail to see why this is a bad idea.
