epilate. fast, less painful than waxing and last longer than shaving.
Are you kidding me? I epilated once and it was the most painful thing ever - like waxing but SLOWLY and in LITTLE BITS AT A TIME OH MY GOD

I've used and epilator, the first time was very painful but the pain was less intense the next time I used it.
One gets used to it.
That said, I'm not a patriot of any one method of hair removal.

Shave, I would wax but you have to wait until the hair is long enough before you can do it again which is shit. I have wax strips that say they work on short hairs but they won't grip my leg hair, it works fine for bikini line and shiz but idk maybe my leg hair is too delicate or something

I voted epilate but lately I have just been shaving. It's fast and cheap, but has to be done frequently. I used to epilate a lot, and you do get used to the pain! My hair is now patchy but they lie when they say you only have to do it every 4 weeks.
As for waxing, I've tried those home wax strips and they always end up patchy so I don't bother
