Back to the question, in most cases I use shift but if I need to type a number of consecutive captial letters, then obviously Caps Lock is a better option.

in primary school, i was obsessed with pressing/ unpressing caps lock for single words starting with caps....now i have sucummbed to the common sense of the shift key
