the velo of a particle is proportional to its displacement. When t = 0 , x=2, and t = 10, x = 4. Find the displacement- time function, and find the displacement when t = 25.
i dont understand the part in bold
i interpreted it as v = x? dx /dt = x??

When a is proportional to b it means that a=kb, for some k. Hence, v = kx, or dx/dt = kx.
