It depends... are you easily intimated? I go to a top selective school myself and I can tell you that it will make you very competitive (I know some girls even left the school since they didn't like that aspect of a selective school). The students at the school can be very intimidating and at times it will make you question yourself. On the other hand, if you think that it will just motivate you to try hard, then by all means.. GO!!
