Sig fig question calcs (1 Viewer)

In HSC phys and chem calclulations is it true that if one of the values are 1 sig fig eg 0.1moles, is it true that u still take 2 sig figs
Also is ph always in decimal places
Also if they say like for example calculate the time... and the data they give u have time in days, then do u always leave ur answer in days, not seconds (despite SI units)

Usually you just follow how the question has given the values, e.g. if they say 12.5ml used, then you would use 3 sig figs. It honestly doesn't matter as long as you have the correct working out and answer.
