Can you please explain this to me?
I'm learning Simple Harmonic Motion and I'm stuck...
x = acos(nt + @)
v = -ansin(nt + @)
So:
x^2 + v^2/n^2 = a^2cos^2(nt + @) + a^2sin^2(nt + @) = a^2
But where did a^2 come from?
