M&G question..

this is a really simple question and i want to know if i got the right answer cuase the one in the book is different to what i got

A conductor of length 50cm is placed at right angles to a magnetic field of strength 10T. If the conductor carries a current of 2.5A, calculate the force acting on the conductor.

the book has 12.5N and i got 62.5N

= 10*2.5*0.5
=12.5
