well V=y^2dx

then use simpsons rule to integrate pi(1/(x^2+2x+x^4) with limited 2 to -2 or from 2 to 0 and double it since its an even function

You may want to learn that formula for Simpsons... since it's for the HSC, well you need to know at least either of Simpsons or trapezoidal (which I don't like)
