Hi everyone reading this thread. I need help with these questions.
Q1. Solve;
3x^2-2xy-y^2=0...1
x^2+y^2=10...2
Q2. Solve;
x^2-xy+y^2=9...1
2x^2-xy=0...2
Hi wouldn't (x-y+2x+2y)=3x+y instead of 3x+3y?
Do the same thinking for q2 Hint: May involve cubes.
typo itsHi wouldn't (x-y+2x+2y)=3x+y instead of 3x+3y?
Yes you're right sorry im out of it so you just solve like I did.I'm confused -_-.... Is it just my calculation or if you factorised out x-y it would just leave x-y+2x+2y
Yes!!! I got that.For Question 1;
The answers for x are : x=y and x= -y/3
The answers for y are : Plus-minus sqrt 5 and y = plus-minus 3.
Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?
