i was doing a poly question, factoring it after finding its roots. i was thinking, can the same be done for the sine function but as an infinite product?

i.e. sin x=(x)(x-pi)(x+pi)(x-2pi)(x+2pi)(x-3pi)(x+3pi)...

edit: actually, i seem to have found something about it

Not to my knowledge, infinite sums are possible and easy to derive

hm i don't think so

i was just wondering if i could what i did with the sine function: factor it in accordance with it's infinitely repeating roots

edit: oops sorry, assumed the link just concerned with the infinite product for pi/2

thanks :)
