Hey i was just wondering what skills we have to know / use for the exam?! i have no idea! hehehe thanks xxoxo

i think basic mapping skills (gradient, aspect, bearing etc) and data interpreting skills,

like out fo the 4 countries shown, which one had a 5% increase in population

or something like that

a good trick for anyone, is we all know that gradient is RISE/RUN well thats what we learnt in maths anyway. but here to get the answer as 1:50 do RUN/RISE it sounds wierd, but it works, you will get a number, and that is the x in 1:x

seriously i tworks, andis much easier than trying to manipulate a fraction

just look in your syllabus under 'using gographical skills and tools such as'- its pretty much basic stuff, but still.. and remember to learn what each word means (eg chloropleth map)

The Basics like AR and GR plus Estimating the Distance, Direction and Bearings, Estimating Height and calculating local relief, Gradient, VERTICAL EXAGGERATION, Line of sight, aspect, area and density, Interpret graphs.

So many skills to know but so little time.
