haha Slipknot aren't anti - christian AT ALL. Anti Christian makes me think of the Norweigian black metallers like Burzum who burned churches, or bands like Deicide who use anti christianity, biblical hypocrisy etc as their main source material.

Slipknot just had a bit of a satanic slant in Iowa. woohoo. It's about as anti christian as Ozzy Osbourne is.

yeah i loved slipknot in year 7 when they first released an album, but i found better things to listen to. they are ok for a mainstream MTV style band though. Their new album fucking blows donkey cock. Chicks i know who used to bitch on at me about listening to 'that terrible scary clown band' are now buying BDO tickets and Slipknot cd's in droves. Congratulations, they are turning into linkin park.

I think that the slipknot masks (for volume 3) got more um "scary" while the fukin music became more pussy

dont get me wrong, its not the fact that the songs (for the most part) are 'bad', its just not what i want, or have been hearing from slipknot. its like metallica diverging from speed/thrash metal to that queer mix of heavy/country/metal/rock they have going now.

Yeah, just coz i dont like subliminal verses, i still respect them for the music they write and stuff. I guess wen an artist first comes out (like slipknot - self titled and eminem the slim shady lp/marshall mathers lp) they are reallly killer and raw coz they just came into the music industry, and sometimes get less raw and more mainstream over time.

I wish slipknot stayed like they were in the 99/01 period wen they were realllly kewl, but shit happens.
