Ok, I missed a prac where they did paper chromatography with smarties.
So... not having any results, I was wondering:

Does anyone know the specific colours (not ingredients, just colours) that are in smarties? Or, more specifically, purple smarties?
And does anyone know the colours that are in black jelly beans?

I'm hoping to hand this in today... help =

Perhaps you could go to your teacher and ask to do the prac during lunch time or recess. There is nothing like actually doing the prac for youself to get the info first hand. It also helps when remembering it for use in exam questions.

OR, you could perhaps ask for an extension and a couple of bits of filter paper and do the experiment at home.

Just a suggestion.
