Okay, so pretty much, im lost by the whole scaling business. I need a really high ATAR, and id like to know what my raw marks need to be in my subjects, to get a band 6.

(those are the subjects im thinking of doing next year, with a possibility of dropping one of them...)

Also, i was wondering, is it true that if you get 90 in all ur subjects u get a atar of 99+ automatically?
thats one of the things ive heard people saying...

raw marks are just guess's people make, no one besides Board of studies knows them.

In most cases 90 in every subject will get you 99+, but aleast 98+. (does not include shit scaling subjects)

If you get 90+ is all your subjects you'll get easily 98+, if you get mid band 6 then probably 99.5+, this is primarily because of your high scaling subjects.


A band 6 all round in low scaling subjects in contrast would result in high 80s- low 90s ATAR.

Don't worry about scaling everything you do besides PDHPE has very good- to extremely good scaling.
