May he rest in peace, and my thoughts are with those affected by him, and for those (like myself) who were inspired by this man's courage and determination, defying the odds of human science.

Hats off to you Mr. Reeve - your legend will live on.

This is just too much. I just saw him on Oprah today, and was happy to see how well he was doing. Devastating news.

im lost for words. just looking at those pictures make me want to cry. why is there no crying smilie?? he was a truly inspirational man.

i think it was a coincidence because it was a new episode.

That's sad, it really is. I liked the original Superman. But i think of it this way -- he lived 9 years paralysed.. that's a pretty crappy life to live, so it's a relief to die in a way.
