So, I want to change degrees.

They told me to come back after exam results were out so I could get the Change of Program form.

When do I actually need to get my butt to uni? :D or am I already too late?

That's all very nice, but I still don't know whether I should go to uni tomorrow or not

:(

I guess I should go, to be on the safe side...

true.

EDIT: oh my god

just checked site

Undergraduate students can internally transfer degrees, provided that they meet the requirements listed on the transfer request form. This form is available at the end of each semester after examination results are released. It is open for a period of approximately 2 to 3 weeks - no late applications are accepted.
fuck.

Oh hold on wait... how long has it been since results have been released? yes, I'll go to uni tomorrow I think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, can someone have a look at this? http://www.reg.mq.edu.au/Undergrad/current/currentstudents/degreetransfer.pdf

Scroll down to the BCA ones. All that stuff on the left... is that what I NEED to have to transfer? Or just what's needed TO transfer into it? Mr BCA dude said all I needed was a signature :(

"approximately 2 to 3 weeks" - how randomly vague!

wow. you're really good. I haven't looked too far on campus. x5b/w5a/w6a/e5a/samshop/foodcourt/sambar. cept this one time, my friend thought it was a short cut to walk to mac centre by walking straight ahead from wallys walk instead of turning right. what an adventure.
That's the only way I go...certainly more scenic and with a proper footpath. My feet thank me when I'm wearing thongs and it's wet outside.

E4A is pretty hawt...

lcf - I love the Joy one. Have a look at what Wiki says about Joy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macquarie_University
Gotta love urban legends...

Once more for the paranoid bee.

Hi Lynn,
Yes there is no problem in switching bfrom the INternational program to
the local one. You can simply fill out a change of program form.
Given that UAI is higher for the International you don't need any
special requirements to switch. In fact, it used to be that you didn't
need anyone's signature except your own!!
Is Change of Program and "Transfer Degree Form" the same thing? or different?

Change of Program is changing the units you wish to take. It's usually done by yourself on estudent (unless you need academic approval or it's for Summer School).

hrm, that doesn't sound right :/

the BCA (what I want) and BCA Int (what I'm currently in) appear as two different degrees... although they basically do exact same units. Ah well, will just print out email and go figure it out at uni tomorrow :) And seeing as I don't have the "2.5 GPA" listed next to BCA, let's hope I can contact Mark Evans ASAP!!!

thanks for all your help GtG!

^ it was like, 2am when I was panicking!! I can't ring up SES at 2am!!! :p

I went to uni today though. Filled out that transfer degree form. A little worried because GPA is 2.25 as opposed to 2.5 (Ridiculously close to credits in seconds semster for two subjects though, so hopefully can get waiver if I need it), but the nice SES ladies said that even if I wasn't successful in transfering, I could stay in my Int degree, then just "skip" the int part and graduate in the normal BCA. But we'll see.

Next step - changing my name! lol
