Anyway, In other news, about a quarter of my schools grade is comming to newcastle, rock on!

how many maths subjects did you do 1st and 2nd year? My maths degree is progressing really slow because of clashes with civil engineering subjects

hmmm well thats why i chose to combine it with comp sci, cuz theres alot of electives to fill with math subj.
math subj: in high school i did math121 (part of the accelerated program).1st yr: analysis, math122(i was lazy!). 2nd yr:math151, math231, math232, math351

what yr are you in? 2nd i guess. i might have been in some classes with you...

I didn't know anyone going to newy uni, only one guy from my school is enrolled in engineering there but for some reason hes been able to do it all at the ourimbah campus

im starting 3rd year this year...I would have done 2310 with you last year. I'm guessing that you got 100 in that

how was analysis btw? I'm doing that and some catch up course because i could only do 111 and 112 1st year because of civil engineering subjects getting in the way

analysis was very good! i really liked it. Its just about proving stuff and learning how to set out proofs. I did it 1st semester 1st year, and still went good. I had Ian though - he generally makes subjects pretty easy. Hes a good lecturer.

I'm doing 4, possibly 5 maths subjects this year:

*MATH2330 - analysis
*MATH2340 - algebra and geometry (the substitute course for 121 and 122)


*MATH2320 - linear algebra
*MATHxxxx - elective(s), I'm not sure what elective i will do, probably fractals, maybe something easy like maths software as well.

yeah it seems like half my grade are doing the business course at ourimbah
i'm doing teaching/early childhood studies
