yeah my first choice is combined law/actuaries, at ANU, then combined law at all different uni's.. im still not sure on actu, but i know it will help to get jobs, well my cousin, high up in macquaire bank, has told me they are always looking for people with actu, so there is already a possible job, so i think i should do it, i just dont know about the double degree, like maybe being to much work, any suggestions...

smeyo, its very rare u find a job which requires both actuarial and legal background. so i'd advise u to do that course ONLY if ure considering one of the 2 to be a 'back up', like what i'm doing ....
but if ure confident u wanna do actuary no matter what, then no point in combining with law and vice versa

i thinks its mainly im not sure exactly what i what to end up doing, i would like to do business law, but then i still really like maths related ideas and concepts so i want to do something with that do, its kind of hard to choose between the 2, and i dont know if i would be able to cope with actuaries. i guess i can only start with it and see how both end up going....

Actuarial/Law ... that's like the death penalty
you're workload would be very, VERY full on
I suggest if u want to do Actuary, combine it with another major in Business Law within the Commerce degree, because it is more specialised than Law itself. However if u wish to pursue more the business law side, then combine Law with a less demanding course such as Accounting - these graduates are also in high demand
