Im up to my second topic for S&C in the prelims year . and it seems we've been learning alot about socialisation . Unfort. I still don't clealy understand what is socialisation and the difference between socialisation and acculturation .

It'll be really helpful if someone is able to help me answer my questions . Before Monday would be really nice . i want to be prepared and make sure that i'm not falling behind.

Acculturation
The process of contacts between different cultures and also the outcome of such contacts. It may involve direct social interaction or exposure to other cultures through mass media.

Socialisation
The process by which we learn to become members of society, by internalising the norms and values of society, and learning to perform social roles.
