Solemn in the nytimes but angsty teen in ee2 (1 Viewer)

I read the above in a thread and i need advice to not sound like an angsty teen

Im planning to do poetry and write about a central theme that leans dangerously close to angst and im lwky scared. How do u make it provoking and not just teenage edginess...

try and focus on the exact concept, idea, plot and purpose of your work- this will help you prevent ur piece from sounding like angst, with this, you can also create a specific tone that will prevent u from sounding angsty.

i believe you can make it sound provoking by conveying the main idea of your piece and by creating tension and suspense in your piece.
