1. What are the recognised solubility rules? I keep getting different exceptions from different sources.

2. What is the least amount of ionic compound which needs to be dissolved in water to make that compound soluble?

3. What are the boundaries between insoluble, slightly soluble and soluble?

thankfully in our trials for chem last year they printed out the solubility rules that we required to know for the question and added it into the paper :p

anyone who has done the hsc or trials before know if the solubility rules will come up often in the exams? and if so, in what way?
