I'll be going here in March (cant wait) , just wanted to know a few things:

where do most of the people hang out after lectures? ie library lawn, roundhouse (and which type of people go where)

are there any nice cheap restaurants/cafes nearby?

what are the best pubs nearby?

thanks in advance

hangout places:
library lawn or near by
round house
quad - lots of commerce students
computer lab/k17 basement - computing students
many more...

campus food isn't bad, but it's not that cheap either :(
badabagan is pretty good
quad food court is expensive
round house food sucks

There are a some pretty good places on anzac parade on the way to kingsford if you don't mind a little walking.

the rege and churchies are down kingsford way they are pretty popular with the college people. youve got the doncaster up the other end of anzac which has good steaks, and the royal at randwick which doesnt rate as much. but if you arent a college kid and just there between lectures youre best bet is the unibar. happy hour = fun
